Jason Andersen is a senior advisor to BCE’s Industrial and Technology clients. He is the Founding Partner of Daruma Advisors, a product and strategy consultancy that helps technology companies develop and execute transformative initiatives in disruptive markets. Jason has a deep understanding how technology, markets and strategy meet, and lead to business expansion and growth. Most recently, Jason has been researching how AI technology can enhance and accelerate product innovation and development.

Prior to BCE, Jason was Vice President of Strategy and Product Management at Stratus Technologies. He led Stratus through multiple strategic initiatives transforming its business from a primarily legacy hardware company to a technology solutions company focused on highly reliable edge computing deployments. During this time Jason developed numerous relationships in the Industrial Automation sectors. Prior to Stratus, Jason held multiple positions open source and enterprise software at the JBoss Division of Red Hat and IBM’s Software Group.

Jason received his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He also has successfully completed multiple executive business and technology courses at Babson and MIT. He is a sought out thought leader on many topics including edge computing, IIoT, Open Source Software and pragmatic and agile methodologies.
