BCE’s M&A team supports corporate and PE clients on a variety of activities pre- and post-deal. Our pre-deal services include rapid market evaluation, sourcing, and commercial diligence. Our commercial diligence work happens pre- and post-LOI, covering market and/or target diligence depending on the client’s specific need. These diligence tasks can be targeted or more broadly focused around market forecast, customer insights, or questions around supplier and competitive dynamics.
Post-deal, BCE works with management teams on acquisition integration, growth strategy, bolt-on M&A target identification and assessment, sell-side diligence support, and a wide variety of operational and tactical exercises. Our customized engagement model, including our cross-firm staffing approach, means that clients receive critical data with analysis and recommendations provided by senior leaders from the relevant BCE industry practice team.
Much like our Strategy practice, our M&A practice benefits from BCE’s internal Market Insights capability. Our team’s success is not dependent on the client’s ability to provide data. We can quickly source desktop and primary source data using a variety of internal tools. This robust and independent data collection and analysis capability can supplement and complement the client’s existing research, or it can serve as an outside view with no client input.
