Eleanor Harlan

Eleanor joined BCE’s market insights practice as an analyst in 2021. Much of her initial work focused on the defense industry, for which she conducted extensive primary and secondary research. Since then, she has supported clients across all of BCE’s major verticals and is currently a manager in the Consumer sector. Alongside research and project management, Eleanor has also contributed to BCE thought leadership, publishing a series of white papers and developing a strategic framework to advise clients on product differentiation.

 

A Fulbright scholar, Eleanor spent 2022-2023 in Amman, Jordan. There, she taught English at a local university and worked at USAID, promoting Jordanian women’s economic empowerment. Prior to Jordan, she served as a Youth Ambassador for the State Department at the World Expo in Dubai.

 

Eleanor graduated summa cum laude from Colby College in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Government and a concentration in Middle Eastern politics. At Colby, she was editor-in-chief of the college yearbook, a contributing author to Colby’s international affairs journal, and an Arabic instructor. In addition to Arabic, Eleanor speaks French and Dutch.
