Jeff Snyder joined BCE Consulting as an advisor in the Technology and Industrials division and has worked in the cyber and defense spheres for over 20 years. He brings extensive experience in strategy and M&A activities with a variety of high-technology firms.
Jeff is the Founder of CyberStratos LLC, a firm that focuses on Cyber strategy, business growth, and Cyber mergers and acquisitions.
During the past 20 years, Snyder has held executive level positions involving strategic planning, business development, operations, and M&A activities with a variety of high-technology firms possessing a strategic interest in Cyber.
Prior to founding CyberStratos, Snyder was vice president of Cyber programs at Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), where he led the firm’s Cyber growth strategy, acquiring 20 Cyber firms with a $4B investment in building a portfolio of Cyber end-to-end capabilities, technologies, products, and services.
Prior to Raytheon, he was vice president of Cyber Programs for CUBIC Corporation. There, he formed Cubic Cyber Solutions, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, and led an initial Cyber acquisition focused on cross-domain technologies to launch the new subsidiary.
Snyder is also on the Advisory Board (and minority owner) of Sertainty Corporation based in Nashville, Senior Cyber Advisor to CEA Global (a Global Investment firm based in Tampa), the Advisory Board of Tortora Brayda Institute LLC (a Global Cyber and AI Think-tank based in San Francisco), a Senior Cyber Advisor to BCE Consulting based in Boston, the Advisory Board (and minority owner) with IMCI Technologies based in northern Virginia, and the Advisory Board with Argus Enterprises based in Jupiter, FL.
Snyder has been active on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Cyber Committee, the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Cyber Committee, the White Hat Gala (Cyber) Charity Planning Committee, which he chaired. He has also been a member of the AFCEA Board of Directors, the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Capitol Club Board and is Chairman Emeritus of the WashingtonExec Cyber organization.
Snyder received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently completed the Navy’s graduate-level nuclear engineering program and served on Nuclear Submarines. Snyder earned an MBA from the University of Central Florida with a focus on strategic planning and growth strategies for technology firms.
Snyder is a frequently sought speaker at global conferences and industry events to address a range of issues associated with the Cyber threat landscape and effective threat remediation and risk management strategies.
