Cate joined BCE Consulting as an Analyst in February 2026.

Prior to joining BCE, Cate interned with the firm during the summer of 2025, conducting primary and secondary research, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights to support strategic client recommendations.

The summer prior, she interned at Cortex Sustainability Intelligence, a climate technology company helping commercial real estate companies reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency. There, she streamlined utilization data across 50% of the client portfolio and presented conclusions on demand response performance to company leadership.

Cate graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College in January 2026 with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in History. While at Middlebury, she was a member of the Middlebury Consulting Group, played on the varsity softball team, and served as President and instructor at the college’s student-run spin studio.
