Last month, we saw that the rise of COVID-19 led a portion of consumers to pull back from their normal spending behavior. In the past month, consumers who paused purchasing appear to be regaining their confidence—fewer consumers overall are putting their purchases on hold. Those that are waiting to buy also expect to make their purchases sooner as the gradual lifting of restrictions makes shopping more convenient.
